Carinya Society has had a strong membership base since its inception and Carinya Society is privileged to have a number of Honorary Life Members.
The purpose of the membership base is to guide Carinya Society, by voting in the Board of Directors. The Board must report to the Membership (base) annually, both in financial and organisational terms. This meeting usually takes place at an Annual General Meeting of members, held annually in September.
There are two classes of Members:
- Voting members, consisting of the Directors, Honorary Life Members, Guardians, Parents and Carers and representatives from the Community.
- Non-voting members, consisting of Donors, Volunteers, and other patrons.
