Carinya Society is proud to present a collection of best artworks from talented adults with a disability. Held at the Moreland Town Hall (90 Bell Street, Coburg) from Tuesday 14 November through to Wednesday 29 November works will be on display during business hours.
Since 1952, Carinya Society has been empowering, educating and supporting adults in the community with disabilities through more than 70 day service programs. As part of Carinya’s art program, our participants are given the freedom to choose the medium that they would like to work with and each week they work on creating a piece to expresses themselves, showing their individuality and creativity.
The objective of the art program at Carinya is to allow individuals a safe, fun and happy place to experiment with different art forms, engaging their creativity, individuality and diversity which makes each piece so unique.
Each piece of art is framed to be given the best chance to shine. Frames are sourced from second hand shops, and retouched to fit the works as best possible. It provides Carinya participants with happiness to share their work with you and we hope you enjoy exploring their art as much as they did creating it.
Art is a passion for each of these individuals and they are all thrilled to be able to express themselves artistically. All works are available for purchase. For more information about Carinya Society, please visit our website: www.carinyasociety.org.au or call 03 9354 3337
